The world’s best and most popular chat app announces that users can now correct the spellings, give additional details or make any necessary changes to the messages, they have already sent to friends, family, and colleagues.
This editing capability of the app is gradually spreading among online communities worldwide and will be available for users in the coming week. According to Meta, the Us technology giant that first own Facebook also got the charge of Whatsapp.
To use this awesome feature of Whatsapp, you have to press and hold the sent message button, and you will get the edit option. Please select the option and make desired changes, the message indicates that it has been edited, but the edit history is unavailable to the recipient, according to Whatsapp.
The same feature was introduced by Apple last year that allows users to edit and unsent iMessages between Iphone. In that feature, the recipient is notified that the message has been unsent and also sees the edit history.
Facebook, the Whatsapp parent company, gave users this facility a decade ago. Facebook also acknowledges that a major portion of its users accesses the sites through phones which are more susceptible to typing errors.
